What to Expect From The JUVÉDERM Treatment?
In your first consultation, Dr. Sani will brief you on how JUVÉDERM XC works, what to expect, and what type of results you might have. When you come in for the procedure, JUVÉDERM XC will be injected into the treatment areas. To make sure you’re not uncomfortable, Dr. Sani will use a very thin needle and a local anesthetic.
Once the procedure is over, you can immediately go back to your daily life. There are no common severe side effects; the most common side effects (swelling, tenderness, or pain) are often gone within a week.
The results you see can be maintained for up to one year. However, because everyone is different, Dr. Sani might recommend a different course of action, such as touch-ups. These touch-up visits are just detailing, and are often very short.
